Explore the suburbs of Aveiro for its natural beauty, and find some friendly inhabitants! (flamingos)

Beaches, flamingos, fresh fish and the perfect place to enjoy a sunset in Aveiro.

Summer days in Aveiro are best enjoyed on the beach!
What better way to watch the sun set over the beaches of Costa Nova and Barra and the wonderful skyline back to town by bike.

We will follow the road along the Ria de Aveiro, which takes us to the colorful and historic Costa Nova's color houses, and to Portugal's largest and most visited lighthouse with its imposing 62m high.

​

During the tour you will be able to visit some of the places where you can eat the best and freshest charcoal fish on the beach.

 

There are plenty of photo opportunities along the way, including great views of the Ria canals, Bacalhoeiros Pier, and the Ferry Boat pier.

​

Back in Aveiro we left the smell of the sea, and we smell the salt and fauna of the salt flats.

Meeting Point

All bicycle tours start at our store at Rua dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, 81 next to the MOCINHA Concept Store in Aveiro. You will see our bikes and advertising lined up in front of our "Galeria da Rua Direita". We are in the historic center of Aveiro, in a pedestrian street 10 minutes walk from the train station.
